Dr. Jayne Morgan

Body is changing, and not for the better. Belly and waist enlarging, appetite increasing, weight gain, clothes are uncomfortable, increased exercise not helping.

Palpitations plagued me and no one could figure out why because my cardiac work-up was negative.

I was supposed to feel good about that and was just sent back out in the world on a beta blocker, that dropped my blood pressure and made me dizzy, so I stopped it.

What's happening to me? At the same time my ears itched every morning and my deodorant no longer worked.

None of the new deodorants that I tried worked very well either all of a sudden.

'Just one of those things' I figured. Afterall, how could heart palpitations, itchy ears, and deodorant be connected? It was an anomaly. 'My body's just weird now'' I thought.

And so I went on managing my family and my career as best as I could.

When in fact, those were all clues to advancing heart disease risk!
